    Every time I go to my hometown, this is a MUST! The food is so good and it's quality. From the hotdogs, the burgers, livers and gizzards... you won't be disappointed. The biscuits are amazing and so is the lemonade. It looks like a hole in the wall in the inside but the food is definitely on point. If you're on 85 North around the Henderson, NC area make sure to stop by and get a taste of this awesomeness!

    My last time coming there, I had got an oyster and shrimp dinner why was the Mac and cheese salty as fuck it's never tasted like that before. It was so bad if I had high blood pressure someone would have been paying my bill, I'm a chef ‍ myself that was the worse ever. Wise 3 & 1 in warrenton Nc they Mac and cheese is the best ever because they do homemade Mac and cheese not no cheese sauce

    Mama  recognizes Southern roots are everything! This literally gets 5 stars because of the chicken gizzards and sides.  The building is old and the menu is vast. The people have always been kind.  This place is an area staple.  With all that,  they have the best chicken gizzards in the world.  Best plate: chicken gizzards,  mashed potatoes and gravy,  string beans, and a biscuit! Get you some hot sauce and you are all set.

    I was looking for a good hot home cooked meal. This was NOT it. I should have paid more attention to the bad reviews. Was served Cold food, recooked meat and veggies. Unless your are a  local you might like over cook cold food. I did not. The note on the door leaving is a warning "no refunds will exchange or re-rewarmed food.

    I rarely ever write bad reviews, and I honestly wouldn't be, except that I kind of want to save anyone else local or travelling from this hell.

    So I came here recently with my father who just moved here, partly because of the huge sign and partly because of a recommendation. We came with an open mind. I can honestly say that this was the worst fried chicken i have ever had. It was cold as hell and rubbery. Dads fish was hot and chewy. The ranch are little containers of KENS (how the hell you going to have a CHICKEN restaurant without homeemade ranch???!!!!).

    Drinks were good. Service was awkward as hell. I wouldn't go back here.
